New Remix From FREE SLICE, “Cold Blooded” by Sariah
We have something special for you today – fresh from the hybrid world of electronic music that just keeps trying to surprise us.
Resident New Yorker Sariah recently released a remix from the menacing duo Free Slice of her latest track “Cold Blooded” and whoa, is it impressive.
Easily described as a “dance-hall moombahton” masher, the track makes fantastic use of choppy vocals to give an almost ethereal sound. This isn’t just a track to sit back and listen to, as the infectious beat will force you to get up and move immediately to the dance floor. To be honest, it has been a long time since I have found some decent Moombahton and I may have found my diamond in the rough.
Now what else has kept Sariah so busy? Sariah released her Queen of Hearts EP in 2015, and has enjoyed ample success in the electronic space – reaching #23 on the Billboard Dance Chart with her remix of “Aware Alive Awake” by Dave Aude, along with infiltrating the Hype Machine community with her remixes of “Resuscitate Me.”
Free Slice features two aspiring musicians and producers raised on the rhythms and vibes of house, funk, balearic, disco, pop, and a cocktail of other kinetic sounds. Now based in Los Angeles, the duo expands upon an electronic musical world that demands immediacy and unconventional artistry.
Be sure to purchase the EP on iTunes.
